Lifestyled offers interior design countywide

Erica Green believes “space is sacred,” and wants to help you make your home or business more beautiful and functional through Lifestyled Co., her design firm.

Lifestyled offers a full range of interior design and organization consultation and services throughout St. Lawrence and Franklin counties. 

Green says homes “should be peaceful and inviting,” and wants to help clients achieve that, whether that is through a full redesign or a minor design consultation. 

Because her business is designed around other people’s homes and businesses, she doesn’t require an office, and will go anywhere in St. Lawrence County or Franklin County to work on a project. 

She says that her work varies depending on a client’s needs, with some looking for a ‘soup to nuts’ design and styling, and others looking for input on a paint color or tile choice.

Working with Lifestyled begins with a consultation in the intended space, which establishes a project plan. Green says that clients are free to participate as much or as little as they please in this phase of the work. She noted that some want to be involved in every detail, while others are more comfortable allowing someone else to make decisions. 

“Every project is unique,” Green said, adding that she is eager to work with commercial clients like restaurants and bars, saying the designs of these places help set them apart and make them memorable and inviting. 

Green is a Syracuse University graduate with a background in the advertising field, where she was able to refine her knack for visual details. 

She said she started doing interior design work on the side while still working in advertising, which grew into a full-fledged business. Because Lifestyled grew from a passion project, Green says she loves going to work every day. 

Green said she particularly enjoys working in kitchens and living rooms, explaining that she loves the materials available to work with in kitchens and the texture and decor choices found in living rooms. 

Lifestyled also offers organization consultation in addition to design. Green says this side of her business is “a lot of fun” and says organized spaces make life easier. She said getting organized can be “tough to do,” but makes spaces more functional, which in turn clears the mind. 

Green wants to assure people that working with Lifestyled is attainable, and not to be intimidated by the concept of interior design. She says she truly enjoys the challenge of working within people’s budgets to accomplish their dream space.
