All-New 2026 Buick Electra Encasa Interior Design Unveiled

A few weeks after officially revealing teaser images of Buick’s upcoming electrified MPV, SAIC-GM has just revealed the interior design of the all-new 2026 Buick Electra Encasa in China.

General Motors’ main joint venture in China has presented the first official interior design images of the 2026 Buick Electra Encasa, a brand-new, full-size, range-topping MPV that will expand the product family of Buick’s Electra new energy vehicle sub-brand. The all-new Electra Encasa boasts a spacious and flexible cabin with the latest smart cockpit technologies and next-generation handling features.

The all-new 2026 Buick Electra Encasa debuts the latest evolution of the brand’s interior design language with a unique smart cockpit configuration that combines multiple panoramic displays and physical controls in a horizontally oriented arrangement. In fact, the Encasa boasts an eight-screen layout, including a 50-inch augemented-reality head-up-display and a 21-inch 4K infotainment screen, for an interactive and immersive user experience.

In this respect, the minimalist dashboard of the 2026 Buick Electra Encasa features a massive front panel integrating a 10.25-inch digital driver instrument cluster and twin 16.3-inch infotainment screens – one for control and the other for passenger-side browsing and entertainment. The module is continuous and flat, but has two different height levels, with the thinner instrument cluster positioned above the newly designed steering wheel that debuted with the all-new 2026 Electra L7 EREV sedan.

Furthermore, the interior of the 2026 Buick Electra Encasa is distinguished by a raised center console with a row of physical buttons and several upper and lower storage compartments. Aside from the three-section module and the AR-HUD, the fourth front screen is integrated into the rearview mirror. Meanwhile, the second row features a retractable overhead entertainment display and two 5.5-inch mobile control screens in the seats.

The all-new 2026 Buick Electra Encasa MPV will be officially unveiled in the Chinese market in the coming days, revealing all its equipment details. The MPV integrates Buick’s new Easy Drive advanced driver assistance system, which combines state-of-the-art hardware with a LiDAR module, millimeter-wave and ultrasonic radars, and eleven high-definition cameras. With the Momenta R6 large-model algorithm, it offers one of the most advanced urban Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) systems in the automotive market.
